Beta Terms

Effective: March 16, 2026

These Beta Terms ("Beta Terms") govern your participation in the Hangeo pre-release beta program ("Beta"). By accepting beta access, you agree to these Beta Terms in addition to the Hangeo Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of conflict, these Beta Terms govern.

1. Nature of Beta Access

The Beta is pre-release software. The platform is under active development. Features, interfaces, data structures, and functionality are subject to change without notice. The Beta does not meet the stability, availability, or performance standards of a production service.

2. No Guarantees

Hangeo makes no representations or warranties regarding the Beta, including:

• Availability — the Beta may be unavailable at any time, without notice, for maintenance, updates, or any other reason. We make no uptime commitment of any kind.
• Stability — the Beta may contain bugs, errors, and defects. Features may not function as intended or documented.
• Data persistence — your data, including profile information, event listings, RSVPs, and community data, may be modified, migrated, reset, or permanently deleted at any time, without notice, as part of platform development.
• Feature continuity — features present in the Beta may be modified, removed, or replaced at any time. Access to a Beta feature does not imply commitment to ship that feature in any production release.
• Production access — beta participation does not guarantee access to any production or commercial version of the Service.

3. Feedback License

By providing feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or other input about the Beta ("Feedback"), you grant Hangeo a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate your Feedback into the Service or any other product, without any obligation, compensation, attribution, or notice to you. Hangeo is not obligated to act on any Feedback.

4. Confidentiality

The Beta may include features, designs, and functionality that are not publicly disclosed. You agree not to publicly post, share, or distribute screenshots, descriptions, or recordings of unreleased Beta features without Hangeo's prior written consent.

5. Termination of Beta Access

Hangeo may suspend or terminate your beta access at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Hangeo may terminate the Beta program in its entirety at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Beta ceases immediately.

6. No Compensation

Beta participation is voluntary and uncompensated. You will not receive payment, equity, credits, or any other compensation for your participation, Feedback, or any other contribution.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN ADDITION TO THE LIMITATIONS IN THE HANGEO TERMS OF SERVICE, HANGEO IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF ACCESS, FEATURE CHANGES, DOWNTIME, OR ANY OTHER HARM ARISING FROM YOUR BETA PARTICIPATION. YOUR USE OF THE BETA IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
